Welcome to our Website.
Here you will find basic information regarding the Mark Masonic Province of Northamptonshire and Huntingdonshire. We plan to extend the site over the coming months to provide the members of our Province, and interested visitors, with useful information. The site will be updated on a regular basis to ensure that the pages accurately reflect our current situation. So, whether you are a member of Freemasonry or, perhaps, just a visitor with a passing interest, I extend a warm welcome to you and trust that you will find our pages of interest. Our Province is a relatively new one which was constituted in 1985 having been split from the former Province of Northampton, Huntingdon and Bedford which had existed from 1894. We have a membership of just over 600 in the Mark Degree and within the two Orders under my jurisdiction, there are 16 Mark Lodges and 13 Royal Ark Mariner Lodges. The aim of the site is to provide easy access to clear and user friendly information, or for just exploring the contents generally. You will find information providing a history of Mark masonry and details of Lodges and their locations. We now have a new Webmaster, W. Bro. Mike Sheppard, who will work with the Provincial Executive to regularly maintain and update the Website. Any comments or suggestions for change would be welcomed and should be addressed to the Provincial Grand Secretary. I am grateful to Bro Paul Bass and W Bro Gerry Crawford and do thank them for their efforts, in conjunction with W Bro Alan Kersley, to re-host the site. It now only remains for me to wish you well as you explore our pages and hope that you find them interesting enough to take the opportunity to make further visits. George Bonham
