(N.B. not all Summons's and Booking Forms have been issued as yet)
Due to the suspension of masonic activity it is unlikely that those Brethren, Appointed in Active Grand Rank and those to receive a First Appointment in Past Grand Rank, will be Invested at the Quarterly Communication due to be held on Tuesday 9th June. However, they will assume their new Grand Rank on that date. It is hoped that the suspension will be lifted in time for the September Communication at which time those brethren are to be invested – further information will be provided nearer the time.
was due to be held on Tuesday 9th June 2020 (Acting Investiture & 1st Appointments)
Summons, Booking forms & Minutes can be downloaded directly from the RAM page on the MMH Website
[Decision made regarding postponement for Coronavirus safety]
Due to the formal Suspension of Freemasonry on 17 March and the continuing restrictions covering the unnecessary movement and gathering of people implemented by Government you will have understood that the Provincial Grand Lodge Meeting due to take place on 27 June has been cancelled. Under the Constitutions & Regulations of the Order the Provincial Grand Master is required to hold an Annual Provincial Grand Lodge. Such will be held later in the Year subject to the Suspension being lifted and Government relaxing/removing the “Covid 19” Regulations but primarily when it is deemed safe for the brethren to meet.
When normality returns a truncated form of Provincial Grand Lodge will be held as soon as possible to transact essential business which will include the adoption of the accounts and the election of the Treasurer and Account auditors there will not be an investiture. There will be no official visitors and currently the intention is that there will not be a festive board afterwards. Those officers appointed in both Active and Past Rank will assume their new ranks and be entitled to wear the Collar, Collar Jewel and Apron of their preferment as of 27th June 2020. With regard the Collar Jewels of the Active Officers, the Deacons Wands and the regalia of the Stewards instructions will follow once normality returns, the current thinking is that they could be passed on to the new team at the rearranged Provincial Annual Meeting. The Advancees of the year will each receive their Province Token during July

On behalf of the Mark Master Masons and Royal Ark Mariners of the Province of Northamptonshire and Huntingdonshire, I welcome you to our Provincial Website, which I hope you will find both informative and interesting.
Our Mark Province is steeped in masonic history, the oldest Lodge received its Warrant in 1879, fifteen years before the Constitution of the Province of Northampton, Huntingdon and Bedford in 1894. Previously the Province was known as Derbyshire, Leicestershire, Northamptonshire and Rutlandshire.
With the Constitution of the Province of Bedfordshire in 1985, the Province of Northamptonshire and Huntingdonshire was created and remains as such to this day.
The Province, of which I am the 11th Provincial Grand Master since 1894, consists of 16 Mark and 13 Royal Ark Mariner Lodges.
The two Degrees are collectively known as the “Friendly Degrees” and like all of the masonic degrees they carry an important message covering the manner in which we conduct our day to day lives and encourage learning and the expansion of our knowledge.
Should you like to join the “Friendly and Happy” Mark Degree or just learn a little more, please use the 'Contact Us' Tab.
